A mini trampoline is basically a trampoline for personal use. They are the ideal size for one person and have a surprisingly wide range of uses. Here are some examples of how they can be utilized in a variety of activities.
Mini Trampolines in Gymnastics
There are three events in gymnastics that use a trampoline: Individual Trampoline, Synchronized Trampoline, and Double Mini Trampoline. The two former events utilize a large trampoline in which the gymnast performs various aerial maneuvers. The latter, Double Mini Trampoline, utilizes two mini trampolines, one sloped and one flat.
In the double mini trampoline event, the gymnast runs up to the sloped end and uses that to catapult themselves onto the flat surface off of which they perform a series of acrobatic twists and turns in the air before landing on their feet.

Mini Trampolines for Fitness
The Mini Trampoline for use as fitness equipment is gaining popularity. The flexibility of the trampoline material provides a low impact surface to perform cardiovascular exercises. This means reduced injury in the joints when compared to traditional cardio done on hard surfaces.
A variety of moves can be performed on the trampoline which lends itself to a nearly infinite amount of different exercise routines. For example, the raised surface of the trampoline adds a component to the workout similar to what is found in step aerobics. Additionally, balancing is much more difficult on the elastic surface of a trampoline which means you can take your yoga routine to the next level!
Mini Trampolines for Children
Mini trampolines are the perfect play toy for children. Unlike full sized trampolines that allow your child to bounce to dangerous heights, a smaller diameter jumping surface reduces the height that children are able to achieve. They are great for families with limited or no yard space as they can be used indoors as well as outside.
There are also mini trampolines sold with special netting around the outside to allow your younger children to bounce around without fear of falling to the hard floor.
Mini Trampolines for Sports
Trampolines are for more than just jumping on. People who play sports utilize mini trampolines when they don’t have someone available to throw a ball to. The trampoline acts as another person by bouncing the ball back to the person who threw it.
This is great for baseball players who need to practice catching and throwing by themselves. Changing the angle of the trampoline allows the player to adjust the angle the the ball returns to them so they can practice catching fly balls or line drives.
